How Your Call Score Works — and How to Hit the Top Band
Every call is auto-analyzed and scored out of 100. 80+ = Excellent
The score is not random. It grades 8 specific things, listed below with exactly what to do.
1
Build Rapport First
Don't open with the pitch. 60 seconds of real conversation.
2
Discover Before You Pitch biggest score-killer if skipped
Ask about the problem, what it's costing them, and what happens if nothing changes.
3
Qualify
Decision maker, timeline, fit. Ask it directly, it's not rude.
4
Handle Objections Properly
Acknowledge → ask a question back → then answer. Never dismiss it.
5
Tie Everything Back to THEIR Words
Never give a generic feature tour. Every point must connect to something they said.
6
Actually Ask for the Business
The system counts your close attempts. Zero on a sales call is a visible gap.
7
End with a Clear, OWNED Next Step single most important
Vague endings destroy the score. Give an action, an owner, and a date.
8
Talk Less Than the Prospect
Aim for under 45% of the talking. If you're talking more than half the call, you're pitching, not selling. Ask, then be quiet.
✓ What Does NOT Hurt Your Score
Not quoting a price on the call. Pricing goes in the proposal. (Only hurts if they ask directly and you dodge it.)
The client asking questions, raising concerns, or changing scope. That's normal, only mishandling it counts.
